Covid-19: 224 New Cases, 5 Deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 224 new cases of Covid-19 and five deaths, taking the number of infections to 29,94,001 and the death toll be 38,182, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.
Today also saw 379 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29.49,083.
Of the 224 new cases reported on Tuesday, 122 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 300 release and 1 death.
The total number of active cases in the country is 6,707.
While the level of the front of the day reached 0.43 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was 2.23 percent.
Of the 5 deaths reported on Tuesday each from Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada, Koppal, Tumakuru and Batawayavi.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 122, Mysore 22, Dakshina Kannada 17, Tumakuru 12, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,55,288, followed by Mysuru 1,79,600 and Tumaku 121.032.
Among the release as well, Bengaluru Urban overcame the list with 12,33,532, followed by MySuru 1,76,962 and Tumakuru 1,19,771.
Cumulatively total 5.27,82,021 samples were tested in a state so far, where 51,618 was tested on Tuesday.
