Lucknow: The death toll of Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh rose to 22,559 on Monday with 25 more fatality, while the 190 new cases pushed the infection calculation to 17.05.779, according to an official statement issued here.
From the latest fatality, the four were reported from Allahabad and Agra, while the three were reported from Ghazipur and Shahjahanpur, a statement issued by the state government.
Of the 190 new cases, 14 reported from Lucknow, followed by 10 each in Varanasi, Agra and Bulandshahr, he said.
In the last 24 hours, 261 people have recovered, taking overall recovery so far until 16,80,174, he said.
The Counulation of the Active Covid-19 case in the state stands at 3,046, he said.
In the last 24 hours, more than 2.63 samples of lakh have been tested, while so far, more than 5.73 crore tests have been carried out in the state, the statement was added
