Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) told the new micro detention zone in 12 housing communities and issued the sidewalk of 21 people on Saturday.
The number of active micro detention zones in the city has fell 42%, from 181 on January 22 to 105 on Saturday.
However, compared to eight days earlier, the number of new micro detention zones was notified decreased by 31%, from 186 to 128.
On the other hand, the number of people where Covid Curb was raised by 10% from 170 of 170 for the week ended January 22, Until 188 for the one ending on Saturday.
“This shows that people recover faster and the number of new cases remains stable.
These are good signs but take precautions and follow Covid guidelines is very important at this time,” said a health department official.
Seven of the 21 people from which restrictions were appointed on Saturday, in the South Zone, in areas such as Maninagar, Kankaria, Ghodasar and Khokhra.
Four communities are in the South West Zone area in South Bopal, Bopal and Vejalpur.
The biggest of the 12 people contained on Saturday is the ISCON Platinum in Bopal, where 50 houses with 107 residents have restrictions imposed.
Other detention zones exist in Shilanyas Residency in Vastrapur, Swarnim Square in Chharodi, Sun Divine in Gota, Orchid Greenfield, Sky Sol Apartments in Bopal and Shivanta Apartments in Vejalpur.
