Covid-19: Active Case Decreases in Lucknow

Lucknow: Covid-19 claims two more lives in the state capital in the last 48 hours, take the third wave toll to 13.
At least 3,587 more people – 2,096 on Wednesday and 1,491 on Thursday – positively tested for infection.
Overall, 44,697 cases have been recorded in the city since the beginning of the third wave of December 22.
All deaths in the third wave occurred from January 15.
The last two deaths occurred on Wednesday.
One of them was a 40-year-old man brought with a head injury to RMLIs after an accident on the road on Tuesday.
He tested positive before entering.
Because patients are very important, the doctor refers to KgMu where he does not survive despite the best efforts of the doctor.
Another death was reported from a private hospital, the details were collected by health workers.
Inpatient is very low compared to the first and second covid waves because most cases are mild or asymptomatic.
On a brighter record, around 6,071 patients recovered in the last 48 hours, carrying the number of active cases of up to 13,352.
“Most patients with active infection status recover in house isolation,” said District Supervision Officer Dr Milind Vardhan.
“New cases on Thursday include 12 health care workers and six pregnant women.
All asymptomatic and it is recommended to remain in house isolation,” he added.
Meanwhile, at least 38,395 people were vaccinated on Thursday.
Overall, 12,096 people took the first dose, 22,251 received a second booster dose and 4.048.

“We have registered the FIR and the action will be taken against the hospital administration,” said Ghazipur Sho Rameshwar Kumar.
