Pune: The number of active Covid-19 cases in the Pune Metropolitan area has crossed 10,000 more signs.
On Friday night, reaching 10,279.
From them, a total of 5,672 patients were treated in various hospitals and 4,607 were in house isolation.
On the brighter side, the number of daily deaths dropped to more than three months low PMR in the last 24 hours.
The active case began a gradual increase over the past few days in the region.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), rural and Canton boundaries collectively reported 8,299 active cases on June 22.
In the range of 10 days, these cases increased by almost 2,000.
Active kasel in rural areas reached 6,134 on Friday.
The PMC and PCMC limits each have 2,748 and 1,320 active patients.
Health officials said the area recorded more new cases than recovery in recent days, which caused an increase in active cases.
PMC and PCMC boundaries have reported less than 500 cases per day, while cases in the rural areas have ranged from 500 and 1,000.
A report released by Health Officers Bhagwan Pawar revealed that 1,282 new cases were added in the region on Friday, while 1,246 patients were dismissed.
PMC and rural areas add more cases than recovery.
The total positive caseload in the region increased to 10.53 lakh while the release had exceeded 10.25 lakh.
A total of 21,374 samples were tested in this region on Friday.
The PMC limit ‘records the level of 4% in Friday, followed by the PCMC area (5.5%) and rural parts (7.5%).
The district health office report further revealed that 13 patients gave up on infection on Friday, at least since March 16, took the total death of the region to 17,949.
