Varanasi: Of the 4,449 testing reports received in the Varanasi district, two people were tested positive for Covid-19 and one patient was declared recovered on Friday.
The district reported no death due to Koronavirus infection in the last 24 hours.
According to a daily medical bulletin, with new cases, the cumulative number of positive Covid cases in the district increased to 82,372.
With one recovery, so far, 81,565 patients have recovered in the district.
The number of active Covid-19 cases increased to 34 in Varanasi.
The Chandauli district reported no new Covid-19 case and no recovery on Friday.
The number of positive cases remained at 16,197.
So far, 15,839 patients have recovered in this district.
At present, Chandauli has two active Covid-19 cases.
In Jaunpur District, three people were tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, increasing the number of positive cases to 22,567.
So far, 22,324 patients have recovered in the district.
At present, Jaunpur has 10 active Covid-19 cases.
