Bengaluru: BJP MLA from political secretary Honnali and Chief Minister of MP Renukaccharya said he had requested Davanagere police supervisor to register firmly because of participating in the local exhibition on Monday on a violation of the norms.
He also apologized for his failure to prevent fair.
“I know I have made a mistake.
I can’t refuse when people from the constituency I invited me to the exhibition,” he said.
Interior Minister Araga Jnanendra said a FIR had been registered against the organizers.
