Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Thursday declared 41 new micro detention zones in the city and was issued by the sidewalk of 14.
Of the total new micro detention zones, 32 or 78%, located in areas falling west of AMC, Western Zone power and south.
Ten communities are in the southwest zone area such as Bopal, South Bopal, Satellite and Sarkhej while 10 are in the West Zone area such as Chandkheda, Naranpura, Ranip and Navrangpura.
Twelve people have been contained in Maninagar, Ghodasar, Narol, and Danilimda which fall in the Amc southern zone zone.
Only three people were included on the edge of the sidewalk in the North West Zone area such as Bodakdev and Gota.
The total micro-active detention zone in the city on January 20 stood at 131 up from 104 days earlier.
The biggest micro detention zone in terms of the population among new areas is in the Asmita community in Khokhra with 32 houses and 108 residents.
The second largest zone is in ICB Flora in Gota where 20 houses with 66 residents have been brought based on detention.
Two floors in two blocks consisting of eight houses and 39 residents in Rudra Square in Bodakdev were also taken by detention.
In the South West Zone, four houses on one floor with 12 residents in Pararis-1 are safe is micro.
Another community contained in the SW Zone includes Aarohi Elysium, Kaivalyadham Tower-1, Orchid Pride and Orchid Greenfield.
