LONDON: These three seeds Stefanos Tsitipas talked about the life challenges in Covid-19 ‘Bubble’ and lost motivation because Greece made the initial surprise from the Wimbledon single’s single on Monday.
The French Open finalist also acknowledged that the lack of pre-tournament preparation on the grass had become a factor and his unclean opponent, Frances Tiafoe only played a better game.
“Bubbles make it really tiring week after week,” Tsitipas told reporters when asked why he felt less motivated than on another occasion.

Tsitipas, who was also lost in the first round of the last time he played at Wimbledon in 2019, said “There are times when I was much more motivated than this” but added it wasn’t a reason not to play well.
He said the transition from clay to grass was one of the biggest challures in sports and had taken it too long to adapt.
“My opponent played much better, better significantly, than me.
There is no drive that I expected.
There is no spirit of the same battle that I usually encounter in court,” he said.
“Of course I want to see me the different times.

That’s a good thing.” The 22-year-old tsitipas said he still intends to compete at the Tokyo Olympics next month.
