Coimbatore: The Covid-19 Daily case fell 223 on Saturday against 239 the day before.
With one death reported on Saturday, death continued to remain low in this district.
While a total of 208 patients were released after treatment, 2,180 active cases were undergoing hospital treatment.
So far, 2,30,928 people were tested positive in the district, where 2,265.58 was released after treatment.
The district has reported 2,190 deaths so far.
Daily positive cases fell in Tirupur Regency to 84 of 90 cases.
The number of deaths also dropped after almost one week to three.
The district reported at least five deaths over the past week.
While the total 88 patients used up after treatment, 867 patients underwent treatment at the hospital.
The Tirupur district has reported 88,441 positive cases so far, where 86,714 people are repatriated after treatment.
