Pune: The Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) on Wednesday added 974 new Covid-19 cases as against 885 recovery, with rural areas noting the highest infection (527) for today among the components in the region.
Regular sample testing increased to 29,176 on Wednesday.
More than 13,800 samples were examined in rural areas in the last 24 hours, while 9,064 tests were carried out within the PMC limit and 5,606 in the Pimpri Chinchwad area.
A report released by Health Officers Bhagwan Pawar stated that 215 patients were dismissed in PMC and 473 limits in the rural part.
Calculate a positive case in this area has increased above 11.01 lakh.
A total of 15 patients gave up on infections in the region on Wednesday.
