Covid-19 Casing England Hit Record High For Second Day

London: New Covid-19 cases in the UK reached the highest record for the second day running on Thursday, when the Head of the British Head of the Head of England warned that the receipt of a daily hospital could also reach a new peak because the Omicron Coronavirus variant spread rapidly.
England reported 88,376 new infections, the highest since the commencement of Pandemi and rose by around 10,000 since the previous record was set on Wednesday.
The surge in the cases piled up pressure on health services struggling with staff disease, British head medical head Chris Whitty said on Thursday.
Omicron is very contagious so even if it is proven to be lighter than other variants, it can still cause a surge in hospital admission, said parliamentarians.
Note for the number of people treated at the hospital with Covid-19 is 4,583 regulated in January.
“Maybe, because this will be very concentrated in a short time, even if it’s lighter, you can end up with a higher amount than those who enter the hospital on one day,” he said.
However, he said vaccination could cut the amount received for intensive care and shorten the time spent at the hospital.
On Thursday there were 849 reception.
Susan Hopkins, head of medical advisory at the British Health Security Agency, said there were 15 cases of omicron which was proven in hospitals, but the numbers tend to be much higher.
Although new cases were at a high record according to official data, England did not have mass testing capacity in March 2020 when the pandemic first hit the country, so the scale of infection at that time was unknown.
A senior emergency doctor said the hospital, especially in London, struggled to maintain the level of staff because the amount to be isolated with Covid-19.
“Even if we haven’t seen a big increase in hospitalization, we have seen the effect not have the staff to run the shift properly and safely,” Katherine Henderson, an emergency consultant in London and the President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, told BBC radio.
“So we are worried about patient damage that happens because we don’t have staff.” The Minister of Education also warned the problem with the lack of staff, and said his department would work with former teachers who wanted to return to the profession to help.
England bet that vaccine amplifier will prevent serious illness from Omicron.
The government has also advised people to work from home, mask masks wear in public places and have introduced Covid-19 feedback to enter several places and events in the UK, but have stopped previous locking steps.
“If it looks as if the vaccine is less effective than we expected, that for example it will be a material change for how the ministers see the risk going forward,” Whitty said.
