Thiruvananthapuram: Covid death analysis report presented before the Covid review meeting organized by Pinarayany’s Minister of Pinarayan’s head on Saturday showed that 1,795 deaths had occurred in the country because of the delay in the hospital.
444 deaths have occurred at home and 127 during transit from home to hospital.
On the first day of hospitalization 691 death had occurred and 533 deaths occurred within three days in hospitalization.
Thrissur recorded the highest number of deaths at home – 149 – followed by 61 deaths in Kollam, 54 in Palakkad and 45 in Ernakulam.
In Thrissur, 315 deaths have occurred because of delays in hospitalization followed by Palakkad with 250 deaths.
In Kollam 175 Deaths, Ernakulam 165, Kozhikdoe 163 and Malappuram 161 deaths have occurred due to delays in reception to the hospital.

The level of positivity test (TPR) has increased to 18.04%.
Hypertension, diabetes mellitus and coronary artery disease are the top three commorbics that have been quoted as reasons behind Covid’s death in the state.
Of the total death, 26.57% suffered from diabetes mellitus, 26.29% had hypertension and 10.92% had coronary artery disease.
Five high-risk districts, reports also show that the average peposititivity rate in the last three days is above 20% in five districts and seven districts above 15%.
Thrissur has the highest TPR – 22.6%, followed by Malappuram (22.3%), Palakkad (21.7%), Kozhikode (21.4%) and Wayanad (21.3%).
In Kannur, it was 18.6%, Kollam (18.4%), Idukki (18.1%), Kottayam (18%), Alappuzha (18%), Pathanamthitta (17.3%), Ernakulam (17.1 %), Thiruvananthapuram (13.4%) and Kasaragod (10.8%).

Good progress in covid vaccination per report, Ernakulam and Wayanad have achieved 100% vaccination among people over 60 years.
Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Palakkad and Kottayam have achieved 99% vaccination.
The rest of the district includes 93% of people over 60 years.
At the age of 45 years, Wayanad had 100% coverage, followed by Kasaragod (98%), Pathamthitta (97%), Ernakulam (96%), cozhikode and iducki (94%) and Thiruvananthapuram (90%).
