New Delhi: Delhi on Saturday recorded 45 deaths since Covid-19, the highest since June 5, and 11 486 new cases with a positivity rate of 16.36%, according to data distributed by the Ministry of Health.
The number of tests carried out on the day and stood at 70 226, according to the latest medical bulletin.
With fresh Coronavirus cases, the total infection in the national capital rose to 17.82.514.
The death toll rose to 25 586.
On June 5, the city has registered 60 deaths and 414 cases of coronavirus.
Delhi has recorded 10 756 cases of fresh Covid and 38 deaths due to infections on Friday, while the degree of positivity decreased to 18.04%.
On Thursday, the count is 12 306 infections while 43 fatalities were also reported.
On Saturday, the number of reported cases reached 11 486 with a lower positivity rate of 16.36%, according to the Bulletin.
On January 13, the national capital has reported 28 867 cases of Covid-19 surge sharpest single-day here since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Delhi daily surges of 28 395 cases recorded on 20 April last year.
