Covid-19: Delhi recorded 56 new cases, zero death

New Delhi: National Capital Reported 56 new Covid-19 cases and zero deaths from infection in a day while the level of participants reached 0.10 percent, according to data distributed by the Ministry of Health here on Sunday.
Delhi has recorded two deaths because of infection in December so far.
It has recorded seven fatalities due to illness in November, four in October and five in September.
With new cases, the calculation of Coronavirus infection in the city rose to 14.41,718.
Of this amount, more than 14.16 lakh patients have recovered from this disease.
Death toll stands at 25,100.
According to health bulletins, the authorities carried out 56,274 tests, including 51,263 RT-PCR, the previous day.
There are 397 Covid active cases in Delhi, where 188 is in house isolation.
The number of detention zones stood at 113.
Delhi reported 52 new Covid-19 cases on Saturdays, and 41 cases on Friday.
The capital has reported the second case of the Omicron variant of Coronavirus on Saturday – a 35-year-old man with a history of travel to Zimbabwe and South Africa.
He underwent treatment at the LNJP hospital and only had weaknesses.
On last Sunday, a man who was fully vaccinated by 37 years, who arrived in Delhi from Tanzania, was tested positive for Omicron in the national capital.
