Covid-19: Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana inaugurated the initial vaccination of a booster dose

Ludhiana: Deputy Deputy Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma on Monday inaugurated the commencement of the booster dose administration for Covid-19 in the Dumra Auditorium in Dairand Medical College and Hospital.
He was accompanied by ADC Dr.
Nayan Jassal, a civil surgeon Dr.
SP Singh, Secretary of the Prem Managing Committee, Dr.
Rajesh Mahajan, in addition to several others.
When talking to Medium on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that all health workers and front lines and those with over 60 years have had other diseases qualify for booster shots, if they have completed 9 months since the second dose.
He also urged all government staff who had become electoral assignments to make themselves vaccinated earliest.
Then, DC also inaugurated Covid OPD specifically in the DMCH place.
Furthermore, DC said that a special vaccination camp for all election staff including teachers, government staff, bank employees, insurance sectors, etc.
on January 11.
He said that Covishield and Covaxin will be available in this camp.

Nayan Jassal tells that employees need to bring their ID card to identify at the entrance gate because there will be no entry without proof of department.
He also clarified that there was no vaccination carried out for family members and employee relatives.
He said that all the heads of the department had been issued an official letter in this regard and if there were officials who came out to become positive covid during the electoral assignment, then it would be the responsibility of HOD and the official concerned.
