New Delhi: Even when the number of Covid-19 cases shows an initial indication of a decreasing trend, the central government on Saturday warns of self-satisfaction.
There is still a need to be vigilant and not lower the guards even though Covid cases are active in most parts of the state and the level of participants have shown a decline in the past two weeks, Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya said at a meeting on Saturday.
Minister and Health Officials from Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal were present at the meeting.
He urged them to monitor the level of participants of the case every day and increase the level of RT-PCR testing because most of them showed a decrease in tests.
They are also advised to oversee the amount of hospitalization and death.
