Lausanne: The International Federation on Wednesday postponed the Prime FIH World Hockey 5S event was 2022 because of the “uncertainty” around the global evolution of Covid-19 pandemic.
The ‘FIH Hockey5S Lausanne 2021’ event was originally planned to be held in September this year but has now been suspended next year.
“Meanwhile, of course, disappointing must postpone this one-year event, especially considering that the role is intended to play HOKI5 exposure globally, we come to the conclusion that it is the best decision in order, precisely, to maintain the full promotion potential of this event,” said CEO Fih Weil Weil in a statement.
