Coimbatore: The number of fresh covid cases reported from the city has dropped to the level before the third wave, said a health department official on Monday.
The third wave peaked on January 22, when 1,755 new cases were reported on one day.

“The number of new cases reported in one day dropped to less than 100 marks on Friday because only 70 cases were reported.
Since then, the number of new cases reported every day is between 40 and 70.
On Monday, the city only reported 39 Cases.
