Covid-19 has Effect on menstrual cycle: Studies

HYDERABAD: Covid-19 linked anxiety has resulted in menstrual irregularities among a lot of women throughout the city.
On the event of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2021 on Friday, gynecologists stated that Covid-19 has improved stress and anxiety levels, which may be a potential reason behind difference between two menstrual periods in a lot of ladies.
A poll by PAN Health Initiative, a settlement firm, also, suggests that 41.
4% researched women had intermittent difference in menstrual periods because of Covid-19 associated strain.
Almost 5,000 girls in the age category of 18 to 35 years in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata have been studied.
