Covid-19: India Gift Two Mobile Oxygen Factory to Bangladesh

Dhaka: India has given two cellular medical oxygen plants to Bangladesh to support the state battle against Covid-19.
The Indian Navy ship Savitri carrying two plants arrived at the harbor chattogram in Bangladesh on Thursday.
“Working together as a close partner of Savitri arrived at the port of Chattogram on September 02, 2021 and was ceremonially accepted by the authority of #bangladesh.
Ship carries 2 cellular oxygen plants as a gift from people from Bangladesh to support the battles # Covid19,” Indian High Commission in Bangladesh Tweeted.
INS Savitri left Visakhapatnam on Monday with two 960 LPM medical oxygen plants, each for the Bangladesh Navy and Dhaka Medical College, and will reach Chittagong on September 2, the Department of Defense said in a statement.
“India and Bangladesh have a close and long relationship which includes the spectrum of various activities and interactions, which have strengthened for years.
Indian and Bangladeshi people also share close cultural bonds and vision with democratic society and rules-based sequences,” That statement added.
INS Savitri, is an offshore patrol ship from the Indian Navy under the Command of the East Navy based in Visakhapatnam.
As part of the Indian Vision government about Sagar (Security and Growth for all in the region), the Indian Navy has been proactively involved with countries in the region and has been at the forefront of various humanitarian missions that cover the entire area of ​​Indian oceans including Asia South / Southeast and East Africa.
Previously, Indian Navy Shakti has carried 100 t from LMO to Colombo, Sri Lanka, while Sauvat is currently in the spread of Southeast Asia for sending medical assistance to Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
