New Delhi / Bengaluru: Sameer Kumar, a food delivery agent in the national capital, still has not taken Jab despite regular reminders from his employer.

Founded by rumors, superstition, and fear, vaccine doubts keep most of the population of workers from inoculation drives.

“We have done two rounds of communication that says that they cannot put others at risk, and we cannot allow them to serve in the store,” said Ajoy Chawla, CEO, jewelry division in Titan.
Companies such as Global Hinduja solutions and Hitachi ABB Grid Power, also wrestle with the same challenges.

However, the company has adopted a carrot-and-stick approach to overcome the problem.
While Hinduja’s global solution has made mandatory vaccination for employees, Hitachi ABB Power Grids is carrying out training sessions and workshops to make employees choose Jab.
“Pandemics have caused a significant increase in e-commerce demand and, to ensure that this opportunity is not missing, it is very important for players such as Zomato and Flipkart to get a supply chain staff vaccinated smoke,” said Himanshu Bajaj, partner, Asia-Pacific leader, Consumers and retail in Kearney.
“Likewise, one major impact for players packed goods consumers are around supply chain disorders, including in manufacturing and distribution, and here again vaccination is key.” An zomato spokesman said it had been vaccinated by around 63% of the 1.5-lakh shipping strength and the company included costs.
