Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday sealed the office of the Deputy Police Commissioner (DCP) at Vani Vihar Square for two days after detecting several Covid cases.
“For two days, nothing from outside can enter the office.
Sanitation of the place and place of the office will be taken by the police.
Meanwhile we have launched infected contact searches,” said Mahendra Badhei, Deputy Zonal, South-Zone.
The Khurda District Administration on Tuesday brought hostels from the National Institute of Science and Research (Niser) located on the outskirts of the city under detention after 31 students were tested positive for Covid-19.
Detention will be valid until the infected isolation period is complete.
