Tehran: Iran recorded more than 34,900 new Koronavirus infections on Tuesday, setting a record one day for cases due to vaccination lag and public satisfaction deeper.
Previous notes from 31,814 infections have been set only the previous day, giving a sense of how quickly Iran’s latest surge, driven by a contagious Delta variant, increased.
The health authority recorded 357 Covid-19 deaths on Tuesday, bringing the total death toll to 89,479, which was the highest in the Middle East.
