New Delhi: Inter-country bus terminal Delhi (ISBT), where thousands of passengers arrived and left for neighboring countries, now watching the strict Covid-19 safety protocol after the increase in the number of omicron variants from the Corona virus.
The entry on ISBT is only allowed after thermal screening, and many Covid tests are being carried out.
When entering, hand sanitization, regardless of luggage sanitization is also carried out.
The right behavior of Covid is confirmed by OTBT OTBT and signs ‘without masks, no entries’ that appear in all possible locations from ISBTS.
Each bus that arrives in ISBT is also cleaned thoroughly.
“All Covid security measures according to the protocol have occurred since the Covid outbreak-19 years ago.
We have followed all the latest standard operating procedures and orders issued by Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA),” said a senior Delhi Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation official (DTIDC ), which manages ISBTS in the capital.
DDMA issued an order on Wednesday, which stated that the Omicron variant had appeared significantly and had a persistent increase in the case of Covid-19 in Delhi in recent days.
It has directed district judges to take steps to control the spread of Covid-19 cases caused by new variants, including intensive surveys to identify bags that can be a super covid spreader or hotspot.
The district authority has been directed to take part in the test protocol, track, and treats prescribed in these fields, along with effective detention steps and enforcement of covid behavior.
“After the DDMA letter and the direction of the Transportation Commissioner, we have taken tight steps to compensate for the changing scenario,” said Dr.
Punit Setyhi, who was responsible for Sarai Kale Khan Isbt.
“The complete sanitization of buses is being carried out and people who don’t wear face masks correctly are not permitted in the area.
Social distance is strictly maintained in ISBT,” he said.
He said that regardless of large-scale testing, including RT-PCR tests, vaccination on a larger scale has also begun on ISBT.
