Covid-19 Jab: Gujarat sets two records

Ahmedabad: Gujarat on Tuesday set two vaccine administration records against Coronavirus.
One of them is managing more than 8 doses of lakh vaccines in one day on August 31, and the other is 1.34 vaccine doses during August 2021, with a target of one dose crore for the month out.
Of the 4,93,20,903 people who qualified in the 18-year-old group plus, 4,62,70,665 vaccine doses against the coronavirus have been given in Gujarat since the campaign was launched.
This includes the first dose to 3,46,14,660 people and 1,15,005 second dose.
Thus, Gujarat remains a leading country in a vaccine dose given per million.
Chairman of Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chairperson of Minister Nitinbhai Patel congratulated all health workers, doctors, paramedic staff, and others related to not only reaching the target for August 2021, but also set new records through intensive participation.
