Covid-19: Japan aims for full vaccination in this fall

Tokyo: Taro Kono, the Minister of Japan responsible for the launch of the vaccine, promised on Sunday giving booster shots for Coronavirus, because this nation aims to fully vaccinate the population in October or November.
He said Pfizer and shooting Booster Moderna will arrive early next year, in time for medical workers and parents, who were prioritized and most of them received second shots in July.
“Japan aims at the level of vaccination of 80%,” said Kono on a Fuji TV program which was broadcast nationally.
Digital systems for vaccination evidence will be available later this year, he added.
Japan has left behind among developed countries about vaccination, with fully vaccinated now around 43%.
Hospital is flooded, and more than 118,000 people infected with Coronavirus are waiting at home, according to the Ministry of Health.
Japan has recorded around 15,800 deaths related covid.
