Thane: Twin cities of Kalyan and Dombivli in Thana Maharashtra Regency have witnessed a massive surge in the new Covid-19 case.
On Sundays, cities report 83 fresh cases of Coronavirus, according to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC).
Most cases appeared in Kalyan West (36), followed by 16 in Dombivli East, 13 in Kalyan Timur and 10 in West Dombivli.
Six people were positively tested in the Manda-Titwala region, while two contracted by a virus in the Mohane area.
Also, one more death is reported within the KDMC limit.
On the other hand, 55 people recovered from infection on Sunday, took the total recovery to 1,39,092.
At present, 665 patients underwent treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and Combined Dombivi.
