Thane: Twin cities of Kalyan and Dombivli in Thane Maharashtra Regency have witnessed a stable decline in the case of Covid-19 over the past few weeks.
On Saturday, cities report 40 new Coronavirus cases, according to the latest data provided by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC).
Also, one more person gives up on infection at the body limit of the civic.
Of the 40 new cases, the maximum was reported from the East Dombivli, followed by 10 in Kalyan West.
Four people were tested positively in West Dombivli, and two in Kalyan East.
The Manda-Titwala area saw one case and one person out became positive in Mohna.
The KDMC zone is the worst hit in the Mumbai Metropolitan region of Mumbai (MMR), but even later, twin cities have shown a high recovery rate.
In the last 24 hours, 54 people recovered from the virus, and the number of people who have recovered so far has increased to 1.37,134.
At present, 499 people undergo treatment within the KDMC limit.
Meanwhile, the Civic body informs that vaccination will remain suspended in twin cities on Sunday.
