Thane: City of Twin Kalyan and Dombivli in Maharashtra District reported 40 new Covid-19 cases on Friday.
According to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), most cases appeared in Kalyan West (16), followed by 10 in Dombivli East, seven in West Dombivli and six in Kalyan East.
One person was tested positively in the Manda-Titwala region, while there were no new cases reported in the Mohane area.
Also, another death was reported within the KDMC limit.
On the other hand, 85 people recovered from infection on Friday, taking the total recovery to 1,40,302.
At present, 658 patients underwent treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and Combined Dombivi.
