Thane: After a week of surging cases in Kalyan and Dombivli, twin cities in the Thane Maharashtra district saw a massive decline in the number of new infections on Monday.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 38 cases of new Coronavirus appeared within the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) limit.
In addition, only one person gave up on the virus on Monday.
The highest number of 15 cases reported in Dombivli East, followed by 10 in eastern Kalyan, nine in Kalyan West, and two each in the West Dombivli zone and Manda-Titwala.
On the contrary, 61 people were dismissed on Monday, with the total number of recovery in this region rose to 1,37,918.
At present, 621 people undergo treatment within the KDMC limit.
Meanwhile, Drive Vaccination Covid-19 will remain suspended in Kalyan and Dombivli on Tuesday, the Civic body tells.
However, the center of the private vaccine will operate according to the availability of doses, he added.
