Covid-19: Karnataka Daily Case Down to 46,000; The level of participation rises to 33%

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 46,426 new Covid cases on Monday, while Bengaluru contributed 21,569 their cases.
The country’s daily peposititiveness rose to almost 33%, after 1.4 lakh tests in the last 24 hours.
Low testing is associated with trends seen during Sunday.
On Sunday, when the country recorded a one-day surge in 50,210 cases, the level of pepositives reached 22.7%.
Bengaluru conducted 79,186 tests in the last 24 hours and the level of peposititivity that day was 27.2%.
The rest of Karnataka saw a surge in the last 24 hours, with Mysuru added 4,105 cases, tumakuru 2.960 and Hassan 1,908.
32 deaths were reported, including nine of Bengaluru.
Three victims died at home – each from Bengaluru, Haveri, Besavavi.
The youngest is 10 years old from Haveri who died in three days of hospitalization on January 19 at Haveri.
