Thane: Kalyan-dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has sealed several shops and restaurants within its boundaries that crossed the rules of Covid-19.
With level 3 limitations in Maharashtra, the Civic body has taken place of action that violates the Covid-19 norm.
Other non-essential shops and companies are allowed to keep open only until 4pm on weekdays.
They were asked to stay closed on weekends.
KDMC told them that they sealed the Deepeps of the famous hotel and Diksha Bar in the Kalyan train station area and band bandish and Bar Sai Puja in Dombivli after being told to them that they functioned more than 4pm.
In J Ward, a ceramic shop on Pune Tautan road and Telecom Momin shop was also sealed during the action.
The Civic’s body also told that parks and public land were allowed to remain open from 5 to 9 in the morning.
However, if citizens currently refer to the time given, they will be evacuated and may have to face action.
