Covid-19: Kerala Govt to publish revision guidelines for grade 9 to 12 students on Monday

Because Kerala witnessed a steep surge in Covid-19 case, the Minister of Education V Sivankutty on Saturday said that the suspension of offline classes was up to 9th grade students from January 21.
The decision was taken after leading a meeting with the Chairman of the Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan yesterday.
Classes will remain suspended for a period of two weeks.
The media briefing of people here today, Sivankutty said, “Now the physical class to the 9th standard will be done through digital mode.
About 35 lakh students are studying in grade 1 to 9.

Climing about the resolution of the syllabus, he said that the SSLC syllabus will be completed in the first week of February and a higher middle class syllabus will be completed in the last week of February.
“There are opinions from experts who do not need to suspend the offline class at school, however, the government does not want to experiment with children,” he added.
Furthermore, the minister told that the Covid-19 situation will be reviewed after two weeks and the school will be reopened if the situation remains profitable.
Meanwhile, Kerala reported 16,338 new Covid-19 cases for the past 24 hours, said the State Health Department on Friday.
The maximum covid spread in the Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam district, he said.
