Covid-19 fresh cases continued to decline gradually in Kerala, as a result of new infections recorded in the country were dipped below 38,000 on Friday.
India reported 37,868 fresh infections of the virus, down from 39,249 on Thursday.
Kerala recorded 25,010 cases, a decrease from the previous day of 26,200.
Everyday case in the country has passed 30,000 only on one day so far this week (Wednesday), as opposed to three in the previous week.
On Friday, Kerala reported the level of participants of the test – the percentage of positive cases of the total sample tested – by 16.53%, slightly fell from 16.69% on Thursday.
Daily TPR in the state has crossed 19% last week.
Meanwhile, there were 310 deaths in the country on Friday.
Tolls have declined steadily over the past few weeks.
