Lucknow: The war against the Covid-19 pandemic gets a shot on the arm on Monday when almost 1.9 lakh people in the country’s capital take the jab against the disease, determine the highest inoculation record of one day since the commencement of the mass immunization campaign in January this year.
Another highlight of Mega Drive is that more than 1.3 doses of lakh are given in rural areas, which have so far left in vaccination.
More than 60,000 people take shots in urban areas.
Overall, 1.3 lakh people took the first dose and the rest were the second.
This is the second chance when the amount of vaccination passes one sign of lakh in Lucknow.
On September 6, around 1.04 lakh people were inoculated in one day.
The historical milestone was achieved because the vaccination camp was almost doubled to 432, including 210 in rural blocks.
Nearly 50% of total camps are made in the workplace, residential areas, schools, community centers, Panchayat Bhawan, Chaupal and places of worship.
Overall, 991 vaccination booth, with two vaccinators respectively, was established in these camps.
In addition, 23 cellular vaccination vans are run to serve remote areas.
Long queues are seen outside the vaccination center since morning.
The exercise continued until late at night because everyone who had reported in the center of 5pm was affixed.
Although there were no cases the negative impact of the vaccine was reported until night, the examination of TI reality found a lack of covid safety protocol in many places – unlawful density and people without masks.

The head of the Medical Officer Dr.
Manoj Agrawal said “the number of vaccinations in the highest Lucknow in the state.
About 48% of beneficiaries are the people in the age group of 18-44 years followed by 34% in category 45-59 years and 18% of the elderly.” He too Adding that Lucknow was in front of the other district in the overall vaccination so far with 10.9 lakh people from 36 lakh adult populations which were fully vaccinated with two doses and 15.3 lakh were partly vaccinated with shots.
