Covid-19 MGMT exercises to be conducted in the District on 3 Jan 4

VARANATION: Given the third wave of Covid which is possible, the complete training of Covid management will be conducted in the district on 3 and January 4, 2022 in accordance with government instructions to make all arrangements to overcome covid infection in children.
Kaushal District Judge Raj Sharma directed the health department that the settings and facilities of all Covid management units must be strengthened earlier for training on January 3.
Oxygen plants, resources, drugs, ambulances, ICCC call centers, deployment locations, Covid wards and other health facilities must be examined thoroughly in all medical units.
DM said that guidelines have been received from the government about preparation for the possibility of third covid waves and management of Covid infection in children.
Through experimental analysis of preparation for managing Covid infection in the disadvantage district found during the entire exercise will be identified and resolved, he added.
The Head of the Medical Officer (CMO) Dr.
Sandeep Choudhary said that guidelines have been given regarding activities such as the selection of medical units, human resource identification and training, establishment of a list of doctors and health workers, and equipment availability and functionality.
Further CMO says that daily exercises will be held on 3 and 4 January 2022 in all Covid District Management Units.
During exercise, lacks will be identified and resolved.
All doctor staff and doctors registered on the list of all Covid management units identified from the district will participate in the training.
Doctors, para-medical and other health workers who have received online training from the level of Covid management or organized by the Ministry of Medical Education will be included in this exercise.
A designated neighborhood boy and sweeper, an ambulance driver, pharmacist and lab technicians posted in the medical unit will also participate in training.
CMO says that the exercise will be supervised by additional medical officer heads in each block identified.
All officers and Nodal Supervisors will compile the medical unit information about the activities carried out in the exercise on the specified checklist and make it available for the district monitoring unit at night.
Along with this, district level officers will also review the settings needed for adults and patients with pediatric covid in hospitals.
In addition, the supervision activities carried out for the new Covid variant and the functioning of the oxygen factory will also be monitored.
He said that during the entire exercise, the supervision of all PSA oxygen plants installed would be confirmed according to the guidelines.
The government, where various readings will be recorded at different time intervals after operating this factory for the specified period.
Along with this, during the entire exercise, the function of this device will also be tested at the hospital where oxygen generator plants, ventilators and oxygen concentrators are available.
