MUMBAI: More than 250 vacationers were reserved from the Kasa authorities following a movie of overcrowding in the Asheri Fort at Palghar district on the weekend went viral.
The district was level two from June 14-20.
The district government had opened tourist areas, such as monsoon getaways, at the area.
The district has been shrunk to level from Monday because of overcrowding in public areas and vacationers have been prohibited from visiting temples, beaches and other public areas.
On Saturday and Sunday, tens of thousands of vacationers, such as trekkers seen the fort situated on the mountains nearby Mendhavan Khind around the Mumbai-Ahmedabad street.
The trekking route starts in the hillock north of this Khodkona village, situated in the bottom of this fort.
Videos of this large audience of kids, many without sprays, went viral about interpersonal networking platforms.
The authorities reached the foundation of this village and also fined people.
The overall fine gathered was Rs 40,000, ” said a police officer.
More than 250 individuals were reserved under the Disaster Management Act for breach of Covid protocols.
The fort is a favorite monsoon escape for trekkers who stroll through the dense but secure woods.
It takes approximately an hour to get to the fort.
