New Delhi: More than 23,000 candidates who emerged for the gate examination in February have joined the petition demanding the exam postponed considering the third wave of Covid-19.
The postgraduate capability test in the engineering (gate) is an examination that primarily tests a comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in the field of engineering and science to enter the master program and recruitment by several public sector companies.
This year the exam is being carried out by the Indian Technology Institute (IIT) Kahargrpur from 4-13 February.
