Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 453 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Monday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 8,242.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.49,859 and the death toll was 3,842.
The number of active detention zones in the state is in 27.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
A total of 614 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.37,789.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is at 98.14% now.
So far, 79.9% of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have symptomatic.
GHMC recorded 68 cases on Monday.
