Letter: Letter of Municipal Corporation (SMC), which claimed to have reached 100 percent of the first dose vaccination targeted to become a population of 34.36 lakh last week, on Sunday giving 64,773 other vaccine doses.
It pierces including migrant populations and those who are not city residents.
The Civic body organizes mega vaccination drive and appeals all those who meet the requirements of the first and second doses to get themselves vaccinated.
SMC has organized ‘knocking on the door of the campaign and the health team visited the residence in various regions to ask people to get their Covid-19 shots.
The health team also contacted individuals by telephone and via SMS for vaccination.
“Until Sunday, a total of 52.67,247 vaccine doses have been given in the city of the letter.
The letter registered the highest vaccination in the state with 64,773 doses on Sunday.
Of the total dose, 29,970 is the first dose, while 34,803 second dose,” said a SMC official .
SMC has set an inoculation target of 34.32 lakh people who opposed 35.13 lakh the first dose has been given.
A total of 17.53 lakh people have been given the second dose too.
According to the latest figures on Sunday, 51.10 percent of the targeted population is fully vaccinated.
