Gurugram: District administration has stated nine detention zones because of the Covid Spiking case.
In the command incurred on Friday, Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg said the steps were being taken to contain the spread of further infections in the city.
The detention zone will include the housing and colonies who have recorded an increase in cases and administration has ordered restrictions on public movements and meetings.
Gurgaon One Detention Zone in Sector 84, Anantraj Maceo in Sector 91, Casabella in Sector 83, Anggrek Petals in Sector 49, Hibiscus Apartments in Sector 50, Ridgewood Estate DLF-4, Sushant Lok-1, Palm Spring in Sector 54 and Ireo Grand Arch in sector 58.
Examination of door-to-door scanning and thermal scanning is being carried out in these areas, officials said.
The order has been enforced for 14 days.
At present, there are 97 active cases in the city, the 91 is in house isolation.
