Dubai: Oman on Thursday passenger flights suspended without limits from 24 countries, including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, as part of the Gulf Nation’s efforts to capture the spread of Korenavirus.
Flights have been suspended until further notice, Sultanate’s official Twitter account to fight Covid-19 announced.
The decision was taken as part of the steps of the state to load the Coronavirus pandemic, he said.
Other countries in the list include Britain, Tunisia, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Africa, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Guinea, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil.
The prohibition of arrivals from several countries has been implemented since April 24.
Oman on Wednesday reported 1,675 new Coronavirus cases, so the total infection in this country became 2,80,235.
This country has reported 3,356 deaths related to Coronavirus so far.
