Covid-19 Pandemics affected the implementation of NEP: Chairman of the UGC

Indore: Chairman of the University of Grants (UGC), Prof.
Dhirendra Pal Singh, said that the Covid-19 pandemic has influenced the implementation of the new education policy of 2020 (NEP), and if the situation in the country is normal, it will occur implemented at a faster speed.

Some activities related to the NEP have begun from the current academic year, Singh said, adding that arrangements were being carried out to ensure that the policy was carried out throughout the country from the July 2022 academic session.
Previously, Singh had delivered a lecture on the topic “Changing the face of education in India Independent in the context with new education policies”, held together by the English daily “free press” and DevV).
NEP will not only connect students with their cultural roots, but will also inspire them to become the best citizens in the world, Singh said.
NEP is a unique merging of the values ​​of ancient culture and modern knowledge and science, he added.
