CHANDIGARH: Punjab reported 3,102 new instances of Covid while 125 people died on Saturday.
As many as 14 deaths every were reported in Ludhiana and Bathinda, 12 at Amritsar, 11 at Fazilka, nine in Sangrur, eight per year in Patiala and Jalandhar, six at Ferozepur, five annually in Barnala, Mansa, Mohali and Muktsar, four at Pathankot, three in Faridkot and Kapurthala, 2 each in Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur and Moga plus one each in Tarn Taran and Ropar.
As numerous as 343 men tested positive in Ludhiana, 291 at Bathinda, 254 at Jalandhar, 233 at Mohali, 226 at Patiala, 178 at Mansa, 173 at Fazilka, 172 at Amritsar, 164 Ferozepur, 149 at Pathankot, 123 at Gurdaspur, 122 at Hoshiarpur, 120 at Muktsar, 113 at Sangrur, 111 at Faridkot, 89 at Ropar, 72 at Kapurthala, 51 at Fatehgarh Sahib, 47 at Nawanshahr, 29 at Barnala, 26 at Moga and 16 at Tarn Taran.
A number of 41,884 were all vaccinated throughout the country.
Of this total, 36,783 qualified beneficiaries were awarded the initial injection and 5,101 acquired their next dose.
