CHANDIGARH/SHIMLA: The 3 nearby states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh reported 1,192 new instances of Covid-19 while 89 patients reacted to the virus on Wednesday.
Punjab reported 688 new cases and 46 deaths as a result of virus, even whereas Haryana reported 249 instances, 39 deaths and 334 recoveries.
Himachal reported 210 positive instances while 523 optimistic patients regained.
In Punjab, five fatalities have been reported at Sangrur while four individuals flocked to the virus at Gurdaspur, three in Amritsar, Bathinda, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Ludhiana, Pathankot and Tarn Taran, 2 each in Fazilka, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Mansa, Moga, Patiala and Mohali and one each in Barnala and Ropar.
A number of 78,945 were all vaccinated throughout the country.
Of this total, 74,855 qualified beneficiaries were awarded the initial injection and 4,090 acquired their next dose.
As many as 16 new instances of mucormycosis were reported.
The daily death rate stayed high as half of these Haryana districts on Wednesday reported10 or not as new Covid-19 instances.
The country has thus far reported 7,66,606 instances, 7,53,918 recoveries, 9,109 deaths and 350 busy instances.
