Pune: A total of 1,115 people recovered from Covid-19 infection in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Tuesday compared to 832 new cases recorded here in the last 24 hours.
Rural areas and urban bags of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad reported more recovery than new cases.
A total of 596 patients were dismissed in the rural part, followed by the PCMC (273) limit and PMC limit (239).
With this, the recovery calculation increased above 10.94 lakh, while the progressive count of positive cases reached 11.21 lakh.
A report released by Bhagwan Pawar District Health Officer stated that the calculation of active cases fell to 8,616 on Tuesday.
Nine patients died took the toll amount to 18,759.
