Covid-19: Red flag is increasing the value of R in several countries

Written by news2in

New Delhi: The center raises alarm on Tuesday with many countries that report the high reproductive value (factor r) SARS-COV2 which can cause broader distribution of cases in the future.
R-Factor or R-Value – which illustrates how many people can be infected from Positive Covid-19 – is the highest in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
The two northern countries have a value of R 1.3.
However, what is more worrying is that it also shows an increasing trend, officials said.
Apart from both of these countries, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh also have R-Factor 1.1, while Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Nagaland have R precise R value 1.
Government data shows that the Delta variant continues to be the most dominating variant with transmission high and attack rate.
Delta Plus has been found in just 86 samples and it is impossible to lead to exponential surge, officials said.
So far, 58,240 samples have sequential genomes.
Furthermore, after increasing the number of cases, the center has asked the state to form a rapid response team to be able to detect mutations and act on them earlier if reported from the district.
Many states also began to form these teams, officials said.
