Nagpur: In the midst of a surge in Covid-19 cases in the state, schools in Nagpur from grade 1 to 8 will remain closed until January 31, said Nitin Raut, Guardian Minister, Nagpur Regency, Wednesday.
“All schools in the city of Nagpur from class 1 to 8 will be closed until January 31,” said Raut.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra government on Wednesday (January 5) decided to stop the physical class in college until February 15.

Speaking to people’s media, Maharashtra Minister of Higher Education and Technical Uday Samant said, “The Maharashtra government decided to stop the physical class in universities and universities until February 15.
All examinations in these institutions must be online until February 15.”
Maharashtra reported 26,538 new Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths, and 5,331 recovery in the last 24 hours.
Active cases rose to 87,505 in the state.
