GUWAHATI: The Assam government has stated all schools will stay closed after the summer holiday because of the prevailing COVID-19 scenario in the nation and requested police to take action to run online courses, an official said on Tuesday.
The Education Department’s Principal Secretary B Kalyan Chakravarthy has arranged officers of district administrations to organize for internet courses so that there’s continuity in pupils’ learning procedure.
The summer holiday in colleges stopped on June 14.
He requested supervisors of fundamental and secondary instruction, all of universities along with other officials of this branch and heads of private and government academic institutes to take action to run online courses until farther orders or until the reopening of those institutes.
